The Will of God
Minister Sondria McWilliams
Third Quarter 2022
As we are just beginning on Lessons From Elijah, so much excitement is bursting out of me. It is always life-changing to read about different Biblical characters. I get to perceive the power (love) of God operating in all of their lives. When I think of Elijah I think about trust. Our Abba Daddy is absolutely trustworthy.
I come from a religious background. I only did ministry if others affirmed me. I needed others to affirm me by prophecy, laying on of hands, or to be asked by leadership (clergy). When the opportunity was presented to teach Charis Bible Studies, I remember wanting that same affirmation. My love and excitement for God’s word motivated me to start. It would get very discouraging at times but I wanted to see lives or a life changed. Lol!
Alana, through her own tests and trials, came and joined the fellowship. She stands out to me and I to her. The Lord spoke to her to help me. She has and keeps giving everything her best. Alana is a big reason doubt and discouragement don’t exist.
Today I heard the Holy Spirit make that connection for me as well. “Sondria, Me sending Alana to you, is Me laying hands on you and affirming that you are in My will.” From the bottom of my heart, all of you are a huge encouragement. I truly know that I am in the will of God.
