There are times that I do wrestle with wrong thinking. One of the things I struggle with most often is thinking that what I did the day before will carry me into the next day or week. At best there are some seeds that may have been planted that will bless my future, but what I am really referring to is my relationship with God.
There is something powerful and strategic in committing our hearts, our minds, and our desires to the things of God daily. Allow your soul to declare out loud that “I am all in”. For me, it is something needed and necessary. It is as necessary as a woman needing to be told she is loved; not yearly, monthly, or weekly but daily. How else could we obliterate the plans of the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, who is always seeking whom he may devour? (John 10:10, I Peter 5:8)
God’s commitment to us is powerful. We are the total focus of His love. How should we respond to so great a covenant relationship? Choose Him daily. Let your faith express itself by daily responding to His love. He knows what it is that we really want. Choose to spend time with Him. Give Him your temporary, so He can give you His eternal. Every day can be heaven on earth (John 17:3).
